1) Be Extremely Responsive
When you’re a real estate agent, it’s important to always be reachable by your mobile device. This doesn’t just mean being able to take calls whenever they come in, though. It also means that you’re tuned in to your social media platforms when you’re on-the-go. If you’re going to use things like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for Real Estate Agent Marketing, then you need to be reachable via those platforms too.
2) Outsource Content Creation
Real estate agents have extremely busy days. On top of everything you have to do on a regular basis, you have to make sure that your blog and social media accounts are churning out new content on a regular basis. You may also want to do some direct mail marketing, but don’t have the time or expertise to create marketing materials. Unless you have hours to devote to content marketing each week, you may want to hire a writer and content marketer to handle everything for you. It’s best to work with someone who has experience writing for the real estate industry.
3) Automate Your Content Marketing
When you publish a blog post, you can automate some of the marketing so that your new content immediately reaches your audiences. For example, MailChimp can send out newsletters to your subscribers with your most recent blog post. Services like IFTTT can immediately Tweet out the link to your new blog post. While you’re want some of your content marketing handled personally, automating a portion of it takes a lot off your plate.
4) Use Hyperlapse Videos
Hyperlapse is a great tools that lets you show the progression of things in a short video. For real estate agents, this is an excellent way to give a walk-through of a home or show off a great neighborhood. Your Hyperlapse videos can be shared to all of your social media profiles, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Not only do Hyperlapse videos give your content marketing a stylish edge, but they can also offer important and useful information to potential buyers.
5) Boost Your High-Performing Facebook Posts
When you post something on Facebook that seems to attract a lot of attention, give it an extra boost with some paid advertising. Odds are that if your audience liked the post, you’ll be able to get even more attention with paid advertising. Make sure to narrow down your audience so that you’re only targeting people in a certain location. You can also choose targeting to reach people between certain ages and with certain income levels.
